MERRIBEE

Merribee is an historic house, 7 acres of ornate gardens, restored silo, barn and accommodation, located on the NSW South Coast; available for weddings, garden parties and functions.

THE GARDENS

Merribee’s kaleidoscope of a garden features 2km of pathways that weave through some of the most diverse plantings of trees, shrubs and plants in Australia. The botanical rooms of this 19th-century estate range from the Rose Garden, where 1,000 David Austin, Old English and Old French roses beguile with their fragrant aroma, and the formal potager garden, to the topiary, herb and medicinal gardens and the Lavender Paddock where 1,000 lavender bushes transport visitors to the fields of France’s Provence.  Merribee's gardens are open Wednesdays.  Groups welcome, by appointment: Zara, Tel 0418 476080.  Enjoy a barista coffee and a light luncheon at our Daisy Cafe.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Merribee is situated on 7 acres of landscaped gardens and amenities.  It has become a popular venue for country weddings and special events. You can personalise your event and make it as private or public as you like, with functions like cocktail parties through to fully catered formal events.

December:  LAVENDER SEASON - HIGH TEA

You'll feel like you're in Provence when you walk through Merribee's Lavender paddock. There are 1,000 lavender bushes in full bloom and it's a truly magical time at the gardens.
To celebrate this special lavender season we are hosting a day of High Tea on Sunday 17 December. You'll be served a glass of prosecco* on arrival and be able to meander the many gardens rooms of Merribee's 7 acre property at your own pace. High Tea will be served at The Barn at 15 min intervals throughout the day and will include a selection of delicious pastries and sandwiches including Lavender scones with Merribee's Rose petal jam. We will post the menu soon (with gluten free options)!
This will be an experience you won't forget! BOOK HERE
