Merribee's Lavender Workshop
with Afternoon Tea

It's Lavender Season at Merribee - join us for a Workshop with Afternoon Tea!

You'll feel like you're in Provence when you walk through Merribee's Lavender paddock. There are 1,000 lavender bushes in full bloom and it's a truly magical time at the gardens.

To celebrate this special lavender season we are hosting a Lavender Workshop with Afternoon Tea on Wednesday 2 January 2019. You'll learn how to make a Lavender Wreath and weave the very intricate Lavender "Bottles". Both keepsakes you’ll take home and enjoy for many years to come. Arrive early and meander the many gardens rooms of Merribee's 7 acre property at your own pace. Your workshop will then begin at 1.30pm and includes a delicious Afternoon Tea in the gardens.

This class was Merribee's most popular in 2018 and is an experience you won't forget!

TIME: Gates open at 10.00am & WORKSHOP with Afternoon Tea: 1.30pm - 5.30pm

COST: $135 per person and covers the tuition, wreath (made of Merribee vines which were pruned and wound last winter), all the lavender you need, floristy wire, ribbons and bay leaves/rosemary should you wish to add some culinary touches to the wreath. Small or large wreaths can be made. Afternoon Tea includes tea & coffee and homemade scones with jam & cream.
