Merribee is home to 1,000 fragrant David Austin, Old English and Old French roses in bloom from the beginning of Spring to the end of Autumn.
We welcome you to wander through the gardens, smell the roses and choose a bunch you’d like to have cut. The following dates Merribee will be open to the public:
Wednesday 31 October - 10am to 3pm
Sunday 4 November - 10am to 4pm
Wednesday 7 November - 10am to 3pm - CANCELLED due to extreme weather conditions forecast.
Entry fee - $5
Entry & Garden Tour - $10 - 11.30am on Wednesdays and 2pm on Sunday
(Children under 12 yrs free)
Tea & Coffee, Cakes and Paninis available to purchase from our kiosk.
Merribee is open to the public on the first Wednesday of every month. Gates open at 10am, and close at 3pm. Entry is $5 pp.
We have a small kiosk operating on open days serving delicious locally roasted Daily Grind Coffee, Tea and a selection of sweets: Muffins, Jam Lamingtons and Brownies.
Private Garden Tours
Can be arranged by appointment - Tuesday to Thursday - with our Head Gardener, Alan Maxwell. Minimum tour size is 12 people.
Included: Garden Entry & Tour, Paninis, Scones & a selection of Cakes, Tea & Coffee - $35 pp.
