Over the last 15 years, when most of Merribee's extensive gardens have been planted, we've had a strong emphasis on fruit trees, vegetables, cut flowers, along with hedging and topiary plants.

So it will not surprise that we grow a lot of our own hedging plants. Over time, our private nursery morphed into a professional commercial nursery within the grounds. We grow and sell hedging and topiary plants to landscapers and DIY gardeners.

In season, we also have cut roses, lavender and hydrangeas for sale, through our Daisy Cafe - open Wednesdays.

Our range of shaped and unshaped plants, includes buxus (English, Japanese, Faulkner and Dutch boxwood), bay laurel, conifer (picea) and a wide range of other specialist hedging plants.

To view our range, or for more information, please visit the nursery on Wednesdays and speak with Alan Maxwell our head gardener.
